Plaça de Catalunya will be playing host to the 10th Responsible Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy Fair from 19 to 29 December
The goals of the fair are to highlight and facilitate responsible consumption and Barcelona’s social and solidarity economy (SSE), focusing on its diversity, practices, principles and values, and to promote and strengthen SSE companies and organisations and the work they do.
The fair offers high-quality goods for the Christmas holidays, made through responsible consumption practices and the social and solidarity economy, while also showcasing and celebrating Barcelona’s SSE, which purveys goods, services and activities throughout the year and meets many of the everyday needs of people, companies and organisations.
Approximately sixty businesses and organisations are set to take part in this year’s fair, offering crafts, clothing and other textile accessories, culture, books, packaged foods, cosmetics, games and other small gift items.
The fair will also be offering awareness-raising family activities, along with a specialised information space on responsible consumption options and the SSE.
