Neighbourhood Pride
During the month of June, under the slogan “Neighbourhood Pride”, the city will be playing host to more than 100 arts events and activities that give visibility to the plurality of perspectives of LGTBIQA+ communities. It is an intergenerational, transfeminist and intersectional programme, produced in collaboration with Barcelona‘s LGTBI Centre —run by the Catalan Platform of LGTBI Organisations—, civic centres, libraries and stakeholders in every district, who work all year to advocate for LGTBIQA+ rights.
Planned activities include concerts, exhibitions, storytelling, guided walks, drag workshops, performing-arts festivals, talks, podcast recordings and documentary screenings.
