INTERNATIONAL SUPERBLOCK MEETING

Experience the Superblock!

Barcelona is hosting the first International Superblock Meeting between 22 and 25 March. The event bring together various cities to explain their innovative projects for the recovery of public space.

Thanks to the collaboration of the European project Tune Our Block, there will be political and technical representatives present from cities such as Paris, London, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, Vienna, Brussels, Rotterdam, Valencia, Vitoria, Ghent, Ljubljana, Zurich and Lodz.

The city was also visited by prominent figures from the sector, such as Janette Sadik-Khan, a world leader in the field of urban planning and transport.

PARTIES AT CONSELL DE CENT AND ROCAFORT

SATURDAY, 25 MARCH, FROM 10.00 AM TO 7.00 PM

The event will come to a close on Saturday 25 March, from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, with the Experience the Superblock! festival, a public celebration that will include music, workshops, children's games and various entertainment activities.

Two parallel festivities will take place in different parts of the new green areas of the Eixample, which are nearing completion:

  • C/ Rocafort, between Aragó and Diputació
  • C/ Consell de Cent, between C/ Enric Granados and Rambla de Catalunya

The Barcelona International Superblock Day will offer activities open to the public, which can be followed via live streaming:
