In order to promote the city's economic policy and development, it is essential to have initiatives that support people during the various transitions that are in progress. In that sense, cities are key stakeholders that can foster skills acquisition for city residents and a fair model of economic development, as well as working to create and foster high-quality employment

This session will deal with current and future challenges in the job market, highlighting the need for constructing an economic model that creates competitive, resilient jobs in the face of adverse socio-economic contexts. More specifically, it reviews some initiatives and projects for fostering reskilling and upskilling in digital and technological skills, teleworking and initiatives that promote high-quality employment in economic sectors with high added value.
