His most notable awards include: Eckert-Mauchly, Seymour Cray, Charles Babbage, Harry H. Goode; Two national research awards; “Hall of Fame” ICT European Program, one of the 25 most influential IT researchers. Recognised by the “HPCWire Reader’s Choice Awards” for his Exceptional Leadership in HPC. A former member of 10 academies, he has been awarded an honorary doctorate at 10 universities. Fellow of the IEEE and ACM, a Distinguished Fellow of Intel and Fellow of the AAIA."
