Workshop with Mireia Lozano and Xavier Acarín

The workshop invites local residents of all ages to develop a manual for bringing streets back to life, critically addressing the urban planning of the 22@ district. Taking institutional manuals for public space management as a starting point, the workshop explores how community participation can foster collective ideation as a tool to design future tactical interventions that transform the urban and architectural landscape. Among other approaches, the workshop proposes body movement, speculative design and mapping as tools for the creation of this manual.
