67th edition of the FAD Architecture and Interior Design Awards and 37th edition of the Habitàcola Awards
The FAD Awards, founded in 1958 by Oriol Bohigas and the board of the Foment de les Arts Decoratives (FAD), celebrate excellence in architecture, interior design, and related disciplines. Managed by the subsidiary association ARQUIN-FAD, established in 1976, these awards have been held continuously for 67 years, making them the oldest architecture awards in Europe.
Since 1987, ARQUIN-FAD has also organised the Habitàcola Awards, aimed at architecture and design students, fostering reflection and debate on social issues while promoting innovation in these fields.
In 2025, the FAD Awards will celebrate their 67th edition, alongside the 37th edition of the Habitàcola Awards. The ceremony will bring together over 700 attendees, including authorities, established professionals, emerging talents, students, and sponsors. Awards presented will include the Habitàcola Award (for students), the International Award, the Thought and Criticism Award, the FAD Awards (across categories of architecture, interior design, city and landscape, and ephemeral interventions), the RE-FAD Award (which is cross-disciplinary), and the Opinion Award.
The event will conclude with a festive gathering, combining the presentation of diplomas and plaques with a celebration featuring catering, live music, and networking opportunities.
