Ducts, tanks and gates

This guided tour explores two key facilities that are part of the water supply system in the eastern part of Barcelona: the Trinitat Vella lifting station and the Trinitat Nova reservoir, along with the connecting pipes that link them to one another and to the city's broader network. Visitors will gain an in-depth understanding of how these infrastructures have been crucial to the city's water supply.

The tour also includes a visit to the permanent exhibition The Water Revolution in Barcelona: Running Water and the Modern City, located in the main underground gallery. This exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the strategies and systems used to supply water to the city, tracing their evolution from Roman times to the present day.
