Miguel Milá. (Pre-)industrial Designer celebrates the career of Miguel Milá Sagnier, one of the pioneering figures of design in Spain. Featuring over 200 pieces, prototypes, drawings and recent works, the exhibition takes visitors on a remarkable journey through the life and work of this icon in the history and modernisation of design in Barcelona. With a career spanning over 70 years, Miguel Milá was the recipient of some of the most prestigious design awards, such as Spain’s National Design Award and Italy’s Compasso d’Oro Award, cementing his status as a leading light in the history of industrial design. His approach is characterised by the combination of functionality, elegance and simplicity, guided by the belief that good design must be both useful and timeless.
