Architecture, as a stage for life, is also a platform for artistic expression. Dance pieces, films, and music videos often unfold within architectural settings—spaces constructed with varying degrees of intention and skill.
Can the music video, as a form of popular culture, play a role in promoting modern and contemporary architecture to a wider audience? Could it even help raise awareness and contribute to the preservation of undervalued architectural icons?
This activity invites us to discover—or recognise—iconic architectural works through play. Fragments of music videos filmed in significant architectural sites will be screened. Like a game of bingo, participants will mark on their cards the buildings they are able to identify.
Here, a game as familiar and popular as bingo becomes a playful and engaging way to expand our architectural knowledge.
