    The Cotxeres de Sants depot bears witness to a time in history where tram lines such as the 29 and 56 ran up and down the Carrer de Sants. Built in 1904 to house tramcars, a 1984 renovation turned the space into one of the best-known cultural and recreational centres in the city: the Cotxeres de Sants Civic Centre. This renovation was made possible thanks to activism by neighbourhood associations in the 1970s.
