Escola Massana is the municipal centre for art and design in Barcelona. It embarked upon its pedagogical mission on 14 January 1929, as a result of the legacy of the Barcelona philanthropist Agustí Massana.

It is the historical will of Escola Massana to forge a permanent social, cultural and professional dialogue with agents and institutions, both locally and internationally.
