La Salle Higher Technical School of Architecture
The La Salle Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSALS) is entering a new phase that builds on two decades of teaching experience and seeks to project this legacy into the next 20 years in an evolving and renewed form. The School aims to consolidate the work carried out so far and introduce greater flexibility to ensure it adapts to the current social demands of the profession.
Its pedagogical approach focuses on two disciplinary areas that converge in the teaching of design. On the one hand, the study of materials and the tectonic systems that organise a building, from its structure to its envelope; on the other, the exploration of the cultural framework and the physical, physiological and historical landscape of architectural projects, providing them with essential intellectual substance.
