Francesc Magrinyà is an associate professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, coordinator of the ÈXIT research group (Engineering, Networks, Infrastructures and Territory) and member of the AGROTECH-UPC research centre, dedicated to food technology. He was director of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area Strategic Planning Area between 2015 and 2019.
