Sensory Cities is a platform for developing research and workshops through art and writing, exploring cities and architecture. Its creator, Karen Vila, is an architect from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has a master's degree in Urban Planning from ETSAB-UPC. Her work combines research and action on sensoriality, public space, childhood and feminist urbanism. She received the Barcelona Crea 2023 grant and the Módul 2024 artistic residency from the Fundació Contorn Urbà for her project Barcelona Sensorium.
