Pere Miró, Joan Casares and Xavi Castillo make up the trio Tro, bringing a small-scale approach to the jazz scene. Their set list combines bebop, blues and swing tunes about love, struggle and hope, all brought up to date with a Barcelona flavour.

Using their own repertoire, the sound of the double bass, drums and baritone saxophone brings the jazz trio tradition up to date and invites the audience to join them in this musical world. They have been performing since 2015, released three LPs and regularly play at the country's main jazz festivals and venues.
