The Barcelona City Council is committed to participate in sporting events while looking after the needs of families. With this goal in mind, this year the Mercè Bimbo Global Race will once again offer a welcome service for children during the race.

The Barcelona City Council wants to ensure that no Barcelona resident misses the opportunity to participate in this emblematic race due to family responsibilities. That is why, this year, families who take part in the Mercè Bimbo Global Race will have at their disposal a playful welcome space near the starting point.

This daycare service is aimed at children aged 3 to 11 and will be in a specially designated area that the little ones can enjoy recreational and supervised activities while their families take part in the race. The service will be available from the start of the race until 11.00 am.

To enjoy this service, you only need to request it by sending an email to genereiesport@bcn.cat before 10 September 2023. It is important that interested families register in advance to guarantee your place.

This initiative contributes to creating an inclusive environment for all citizens, where no one is left behind due to family responsibilities.
