This year the proceeds from the registration fees of La Mercè 10K Bimbo Global Race will go entirely as a donation to the Associació in via, a non-profit organisation that works to prevent and eradicate the conditions of inequality that generate violence and discrimination. Since 1953, it has been offering specialised comprehensive care and support services to women, children, youths, families and groups at risk of social exclusion.

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY: ‘Your gesture is worth two’

Collecting the blank chips is an essential environmental measure to avoid the pollution caused by their components. In addition, it is both important and gratifying that by collecting it you are making a donation to the Associació in via.

Blank chips may be turned in at the finish, and this will mean an 80-cent contribution per chip.

• Blank chip collection bins will be set up at the finish.
• If you are unable to participate in the race, your blank chip will still have the same value. Do not throw it away. During the week following the race, you can still send it to us personally or by mail to Institut Barcelona Esports, Av. del Estadi, 40, 08038 Barcelona. We would greatly appreciate it.
