On 18 September, as part of La Mercè Festival, the streets of Barcelona will once again be filled with runners ready to celebrate the city’s main festival through sport. Registration to take part is now open.

With the usual 10-kilometre , route, the race will start at 8:30 am on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina and will explore the city centre, going by such emblematic places as Avinguda Paral-lel, Passeig de Sant Joan and Plaça Universitat.

The 2K Race is an adapted race that is run at the same time as the 10K race and is targeted at people older than 14 with intellectual disabilities or reduced mobility whose physical condition prevents them from running a distance of 10km.

Registration is now open until the 8,000 places available for this year’s edition are exhausted at a symbolic price of 5 euros (not including the chip).
