The Art Center starts a new phase with the exhibitions It Happens Every Day, by Jordi Mitjà, and The Infinite Library, by Haris Epaminonda and Daniel Gustav Cramer

On Saturday, February 15th, we inaugurated a new phase of Fabra i Coats: Contemporary Art Center of Barcelona and Art Factory. A new project that wants to be a statement of intent through three main axes of interest: own production, local and international creation, and the relationship between art and the educational and social community.

In order to celebrate it, we put a first symbolic stone that served as a starting point for the new exhibitions of the Art Center: It Happens Every Day, by Jordi Mitjà, and The Infinite Library, by Haris Epaminonda and Daniel Gustav Cramer.

In It Happens Every Day, Jordi Mitjà has reviewed his career from an updated look, that is, making a selection of previous works from which he has created a new meaning, recovering and manipulating all kinds of techniques, objects, images and sounds. The Infinite Library, meanwhile, is an ongoing collaboration between artists Haris Epaminonda and Daniel Gustav Cramer, an expanding archive of books, made by recombining pages from publications dating from 1890 to the 80s.

All the information about the exhibitions, at the Art Center website.
