Estimul'Art. History, art and Alzheimer is an initiative of the History Museum of Barcelona (MUHBA), the Frederic Marès Museum and the Foundation ACE - Catalan Institute of Applied neuroscience . The program consists of a set of specially designed visits to both museums aimed at people with Alzheimer's disease in its early stages and their families or caregivers.
The objective of this proposal is to stimulate the cognitive ability of those affected by the disease by encouraging the development of their memories. The set of actions will be accompanied by a qualitative assessment to assess the emotional and cognitive impact on people with Alzheimer.
