The Filmoteca is dedicating the second edition of the Afins programme to Joaquim Jordà, one of Catalonia's freest, most multifaceted and influential filmmakers.

Director, screenwriter, translator, teacher, activist, voracious reader and viewer, passionate conversationalist: the figure of Jordà is inseparable from the encounters, exchanges and complicity that he weaved throughout his cinematic and political career.

In the company of like-minded voices, we will look back at the milestones in his filmography, explore unfinished projects and trace relationships with the references that nourished this filmmaker's universe.
