The inspections started on 2 December and are aimed at guaranteeing that the main premises open to the public in the city comply with administrative and safety regulations ahead of the different celebrations over the festive period, particularly New Year’s Eve.

Efforts will focus on celebrations going smoothly, preventing anti-social behaviour outside premises and ensuring compliance with regulations inside (capacity, soundproofing, opening hours etc.).

The Christmas operation is an all-round operation combining inspections, police presence and road safety enforcement to ensure optimum levels of safety, coexistence, mobility and cleaning.
