Surrounded by curved slopes with plants, the new dog recreation area at Estació del Nord features paths, green zones, fine sand, a drinking fountain, benches and litter bins. Work was carried out on the existing dog area to turn it into a better integrated space in the Parc de l’Estació del Nord.

Barcelona City Council has launched an information campaign to coincide with the new area opening, promoting awareness about responsible and civil pet ownership. Teams from the Conflict Management Team, civic officers and information staff from the District Office and the City Police will be present at the park to ensure coexistence and resolve any incidents. The park also has new signage, with indications towards the new dog area.
