Limits on times for the Primavera Sound and the Cruïlla

During the Primavera Sound (4 to 9 June) and the Cruïlla (9 to 13 July), time limits will be in place for 24-hour establishments and terraces in the areas near the Parc del Fòrum. The goal is to prevent build-ups of people in public space and respect local people’s hours of rest, with 24-hour food stores required to close at 10 pm, and terraces at 11 pm. More public transport will also be laid on, with police presence and cleaning services also stepped up.

The restrictions on times are intended to prevent the build up of people in public space consuming food or alcohol, two practices that cause inconvenience in this area during the nights that festivals are held there.

24-hour food stores will be closed to the public from 10 pm to 8 am during the Primavera Sound and from 10 pm to 6 am during the Cruïlla.

Terraces will be open from 8 am to 11 pm during both events.

In parallel, the usual annual coordination with different municipal services will be carried out to ensure respect for local people’s hours of rest, with policing and cleaning services stepped up. In terms of mobility, measures to be implemented include a discount in the price of underground parking for motorcycles, tram services at night on working days, an agreement with taxi services and more.
