What is changing?

Until now, a subsidy application was needed every time a child signed up for an activity. From now on, a single procedure will cover the whole household and apply for all activities that children are signed up for in an academic year.

How will it work this year?

From 15 January to 11 February 2026, families wishing to request a subsidy for extra-curricular activities will have to submit the required documentation. After this period, the City Council will notify them, where applicable, of the level of the subsidy corresponding to them (up to 30%, 60% and 90% of the cost) depending on the household income) and send them one code per child, which they can use to apply for subsidies in each of the activities they wish to take part in.

This code will be used at the time the child signs up for activities, without the need to provide the required documentation again.

Activities and registration calendar

• Summer holiday activities: April-May 2026.
• Extra-curricular sports activities and afternoon educational activities: September-October 2026.

During these periods, households will only have to introduce the family code and activity code given by the organiser to receive the subsidy previously guaranteed to them.
