Electronic Textile Workshop "Tocar" with Tau Luna

What changes in the body when we are close?
In this workshop, we will combine analogue electronics and embroidery to make textile patches that can be taken off and put on (on clothes, on a bag, in a frame, or anywhere :)) that react by touch using a proximity sensor.
Electronics is a way of seeing the effect of electricity through conductive components. In this case, our bodies, approaching and moving away from the circuit, will be responsible for starting the electrical movement to generate a gradual start of light or sound. Each participant will create their own embroidery design, to which the circuit will later be added.
Learning electronics is a beautiful way to understand the interdependence between bodies, atoms and energy chains. Just as energy will turn on the lights of the circuits we will embroider, it also generates heat, movement, sound and even our thoughts in the world. We are electricity and chains of atoms that go hand in hand. Embroidering electrons is another way of emphasising this practice of bonding.
Tuesday 10th June from 4 pm to 8 pm
Free workshop aimed especially at lgtbiq+ audiences, but open to all interested audiences who, respectfully and carefully, want to participate.
No previous knowledge of embroidery or electronics is required.
