Entrails is a collaborative activity between La Fabra and BAU, College of Arts and Design of Barcelona, which offers an immersion in the internal processes of contemporary artistic creation and production.

The programme invites students studying Design and Fine Arts at BAU to delve into the “innards” of the Art Centre: workshops, installations, talks and spaces where the artworks take shape before being exhibited.

Halfway between a laboratory and a short residency, Entrails combines observation with practice, offering participants the opportunity to collaborate in real processes of artistic production at La Fabra Centre d’Art Contemporani.

Over the course of various sessions, the group works directly with artists, curators and technicians, exploring how ideas are transformed into exhibition, education or editorial projects. During these meetings, the group also meets different people, who are often invisible but make everything at the Art Centre possible, thus discovering the complexity and richness of its internal ecosystem.
