Open Barri
“Open Barri” is a cultural and architectural proposal promoted by the 48h Open House Barcelona association, within Barcelona 2026, World Capital of Architecture.
It consists of three events throughout 2026, each focused on a different Barcelona neighbourhood. The aim is to showcase the architectural, social and urban heritage of areas less present in the city’s cultural circuit, promoting a more equitable and decentralised perspective.
Each Open Barri edition lasts fifteen days of activities (talks, workshops, debates, etc.) culminating in a weekend of open doors in emblematic buildings and spaces, following the 48h Open House Barcelona festival model.
In addition, in October, the 48h Open House Barcelona festival will be held in its usual format, opening buildings and spaces in Barcelona and six surrounding cities.
