‘Seny’ and ‘Rauxa’. 150 Years of Catalan Architecture
As part of Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture, DHub will present the exhibition ‘Seny’ and ‘Rauxa’.
150 Years of Catalan Architecture, a show bringing together the best of recent Catalan architecture and revealing an unbroken line from the founding of the School of Architecture (1875) to the present day, beyond styles or periods. Eschewing chronology, the exhibition is organised thematically, setting pieces in dialogue and exploring the relationship between seny (good sense) and rauxa (creative impulse) as a distinctive trait.
The show will include both architectural material (sketches, drawings, models, photographs, etc.) and artistic and design works (paintings, sculptures, furniture, etc.). In this way, it offers an innovative view that links artistic and architectural legacy, expressive movements and social dynamics through almost three hundred works.
Opening: May 2026
Curated by: Joan Roig, Carme Ribas and Victoria Garriga
