The pandemic has evidenced and worsened already existing precariousness and fragile working conditions in the cultural and creative sectors, revealing that many countries still lack basic protection instruments for artists and cultural workers. Following the panel discussion on the same topic (15:00-16:30 in Paral.el 62) , conference participants are invited to continue the conversation focusing on the key features that a possible European Framework for working conditions in the cultural and creative sector and industries should entail.
Organised by Culture Action Europe, the workshop will bring together practices and policies across Europe and devise strategic steps to develop collaborations with social partners, other networks, experts working and researching on welfare systems and the changes in the nature of labour, and policy makers.
