El rei Lear

  • Teatre

"To ask what King Lear is about," wrote Michael Ignatieff, "is to ask what life is about." King Lear, Shakespeare's magnum opus, the one that foreshadows all modern theater, is a great coming-of-age tragedy, the story of a violent and irrational man who reaps what he sows, who grows worse with age because he cannot accept her and that, after being thrown into nothingness, he learns his lesson when it is too late.
