Three voices. Three characters: Three revelations. With this material, a dramatist and director speaks about solitude, but also about art, childhood, sex and a thousand other things, establishing direct communication between the stage and the audience.

What is a revelation? Yes, it is that act through which an alleged divinity communicates with humans in order to transmit a teaching or reveal a hidden truth to them. But it is also that moment in which a reality or a fact that was hidden in the shadows suddenly becomes clear before our eyes. Tell someone; in other words, turn it into words and maybe you won't feel so alone. This is what the three protagonists of this production do, three characters who are well aware of what loneliness is. One works as a museum guide and explains to visitors the values of the exhibits and the secrets that lie behind them. Today, she is with an organised group and her words seem to come of their own accord. Listen to what she says, because in those words, which flow freely and almost automatically, she will find a revelation. Then you will hear from a young man who will offer to make your fantasies come true. He will speak about his life because he wants us to know more, and while he speaks, he will see some things very clearly. And this boy? He has brought us together, although he isn’t in the best of health, because he wants to play a piece on the piano. It's because he has suddenly seen everything clearly. These characters talk to the audience directly, establishing an intimate communication that needs no props, just a sound space and the lights under which the performers move.

The three characters speak about solitude, and also about memories, family education, individualism, faith and what exactly the thing we call “truth” really is. But above all, they speak about what we have experienced and what we have inherited. These are the themes that interest Jordi Prat i Coll, a theatre director who is also an author, translator and educator. He has staged productions that include La Rambla de les Floristes, by Josep M. de Sagarra; Els Jocs Florals de Canprosa,, by Santiago Rusiñol (City of Barcelona Theatre Prize, Max Award for the best adaptation and Critics Award for best director); Quartett, by Heiner Müller and El público, by Federico García Lorca, among others. He has often worked with musicians, directing the staging of concerts performed by artists ranging from the counter-tenor Xavier Sabata to the jazz musicians Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro, and he has written theatrical texts such as Carrer Hospital amb Sant Jeroni, Obra vista and Requiem for Evita, among others.
