Grec 2013 kicks off with a two-fold celebration: a great party featuring music and the performing arts, and a film and music session at Montjuïc Castle.

Avinguda de Maria Cristina
The party begins with a performance by Els Catarres. The band from Aiguafreda play tracks from their new album, Postals, pop-folk with lashings of wisdom and humour, released in March this year.
Next, Comediants, one of the great companies on the Catalan performing arts scene, sharing their 40th anniversary celebrations with the people of Barcelona by showing the trailer for the documentary Amb el sol a la maleta, a journey through their history due for general release soon. This preview will be accompanied by a live performance of Vol de la Terra in which our own planet joins the celebrations in the form of a huge ball symbolising the world.
Finally, the music of Lax’n’Busto will close the evening programme. The band’s new album, Tot és més senzill, shows them still playing rock, but fused with more a pop sound that will soon have you on your feet.
