Disruptions to mobility for the Women’s Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2025
The roads around the route of the final stage of the second Women’s Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will be closed to traffic on Sunday, 8 June, affecting mobility in the district of Sants-Montjuïc.
The stage ends up in the city, taking the following route: entrance to Gran Via in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat via the C-31 as far as Av. Reina Maria Cristina (end), going through Pl. Cerdà and Pl. Espanya. The event will affect mobility.
Restrictions
The first traffic restrictions at the arrival area in Av. Reina Maria Cristina start on Sunday itself, 8 June, at 7.30 am, with work to assemble the finish line.
Roads closed to traffic
Partial: the following road sections will be closed to traffic from 11 am to 3 pm: Av. Rius i Taulet (from C/ Guàrdia Urbana to Av. Reina Maria Cristina) and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia (from C/ Mèxic to Av. Reina Maria Cristina).
Total: the whole circuit will be closed to traffic from 1 pm to 3 pm. The circuit will be completely closed off with no vehicles allowed to circulate. This will affect the section of C/ Mèxic between Gran Via and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia.
Restrictions on traffic and entrances to car parks in the area will be lifted once the last cyclist crosses the finish line.
