“Educational afternoons” returns for the new school year with more extra-curricular activities
The “Educational afternoons” programme is increasing its range of cultural, scientific and technological extra-curricular activities for the 2025-2026 school year. There are 1,823 options to choose from this year, adding another 48 activities compared to the previous edition.
Just like last year, the City Council makes a prevision of financial resources for families wishing to sign up a child to one of the activities and needing a grant to do so. Specifically, there is 600,000 euros available in funding for these subsidies for this school year.
The catalogue of extra-curricular activities is now published and can be found on the website “Tardes educatives”. As for subsidies, the application period opens on 16 September and ends on 9 October. Applicants have to be registered for the extra-curricular activity they wish to take part in.

Extra-curricular activities accessible for all
The “Educational afternoons” programme is an initiative aimed at ensuring universal access for children and teenagers (from 6 to 17 and up to 19 in the case of teenagers with intellectual disabilities) to take part in extra-curricular activities cultural, artistic, scientific and technological activities.
