The ceremony emphasised the work and commitment to the city of police officers with the corps, as well as members of other security and emergency corps, collectives and organisations.

The following awards were given:

• 56 internal bronze medals of honour for career paths.
• 15 internal bronze medals of honour for outstanding actions.
• 5 internal silver medals of honour for outstanding actions.
• 33 silver medals of merit for 35 years of service for staff reaching this milestone.
• 28 bronze medals of merit for 25 years of service for staff reaching this milestone.
• 11 internal plaques of recognition for different units and services with the City Police.
• 38 external silver medals of honour for the work and collaboration of people outside the corps who have stood out for their collaboration with the City Police.
• 13 external plaques of recognition for companies, organisations and institutions that have stood out for their collaboration with the corps and good service for citizens.
• 26 medals of merit in honour of 35 years for retired staff.
• 1 medal of merit in honour of 25 years for a retired officer.
• Gifts for 55 members of the corps who have retired in the last year.

One of the most moving moments came with the award of an external plaque in recognition of the Catarroja Local Police, coming a year to the day after the storm in the Valencia autonomous community. During the ceremony, a video was shown highlighting the value of the collaboration between the different security and emergency corps to mitigate the effects of the catastrophe.

The soul, jazz, blues and funk singer Mònica Green also performed during the ceremony.
