Eleven more centenarian organisations distinguished
The distinctions were awarded to centenarian organisations and institutions from the city in a ceremony in the Saló de Cent, coinciding with the festivities in honour of Santa Eulàlia.
This is the third edition of this ceremony to recognise the trajectory of organisations and institutions with more than a century of proven history carrying out work linked to the city. In all, 140 organisations have now been recognised, including cultural bodies, professional groups, sports organisations and others linked to spheres such as religion and social action.
The eleven organisations distinguished on this occasion were:

- Club Vasconia, club de pilota basca
- Escola Municipal Parc del Guinardó
- Federació Catalana de Pilota
- Federació de Mutualitats de Catalunya
- Gremi d’Empreses de Pintura de Barcelona i Comarques
- Mutualitat de Previsió Social de l’Autoritat Portuària de Barcelona
- Orfeó de Sants
- Reial Acadèmia de Medicina de Catalunya
- Rotary Club de Barcelona
