The fifteenth edition of In-forma’t has numerous new aspects to it, with four sections for young people asking: “What am I and what do I like?”, “Which paths can I choose?”, “What options are there?” and “Is it like I think it is?”.

The first section will help youngsters define their interests, motivation and abilities through workshops and self-awareness activities to discover their academic and professional profile. The second explores academic paths, with talks on different types of access and requisites for achieving academic goals. The section “What options are there?” looks at regulated and non-regulated education and training with talks from teaching staff to introduce the different study paths to choose from. The last section allows young people to meet students and professionals to discover the options available from people their age, with a closer perspective, as well as visits to companies and organisations to resolve queries.

Those wishing to attend need to register in advance on the website barcelona.cat/informat.

“In-forma’t” is a campaign by the Department for Youth, led by the Academic Advice Centre for Young People (CAAJ) and Barcelona infoJOVE services, two young people’s services offering expert support and understanding all year round.

In addition, the fifteenth edition enjoys the collaboration of the Barcelona Education Consortium (CEB), the Fundació BCN Formació Professional, the Convent de Barcelona Activa, the Teenagers and Family Service (SAIF) made up of the “Aqui t’escoltem” points, the Centre for Families with Teenagers, and universities and schools in Barcelona.
