Gale alert deactivated
Given the improvement in weather conditions and the drop in the number of callouts by the Barcelona Fire Service in connection with gales in the city, the alert stage of the Municipal Emergency Plan for gales, activated on Thursday, 23 November, was deactivated.

During this afternoon’s gale episode in Barcelona, the Barcelona Fire Service handled 329 alerts, 138 of which were gale-related incidents, mainly in relation to fallen branches, trees, awnings and urban furniture.
Parks will gradually reopen on Friday morning following inspections.
