Cemetery opening hours and activities for All Saints' Day 2025
To mark the All Saints’ Day celebrations, Cementiris de Barcelona will extend the opening hours of all its offices and cemetery sites, opening from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be additional public transport services, and a variety of activities are planned, including the sale of fresh flowers, a new exhibition space showcasing heritage artefacts and concerts and theatre performances.
To help visitors avoid crowds and enjoy a more intimate and peaceful experience, Cementiris de Barcelona recommends planning ahead by consulting the cemetery maps, the deceased locator tool and the Private Area on its website.
Additional bus services to the cemeteries
TMB is adding extra vehicles to lines 21, 102, 104 and 107 to increase bus services to Montjuïc and Collserola cemeteries.
To help visitors reach Montjuïc Cemetery, TMB will operate a special service on 25 October and from 27 to 31 October, following the exact route and stops of line 107 (the internal Montjuïc Cemetery line). On 26 October and 1 November, additional vehicles will run on line 21 (Paral·lel – El Prat) and on line 107 on 26 October, 1 November and 2 November. On All Saints’ Day itself, a special shuttle bus will run between Plaça d’Espanya and Montjuïc Cemetery.
To get to Collserola Cemetery, a special bus service will operate from 27 to 30 October, following the same route and stops as line 102 (Pl. Eivissa – Cementiri de Collserola). Extra vehicles will also be added to line 102 on 25, 26 and 31 October, while line 104 (Fabra i Puig – Cementiri de Collserola) will be reinforced on 25 and 26 October. Both lines, 102 and 104, will continue to have additional services on 1 and 2 November.

At Les Corts Cemetery, fresh flowers will be available on Friday, 31 October, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, 1 November, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, 2 November, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Scenes of grief
As part of the Festival de Vida al Final de la Vida, a performance of Escenas de duelo. Hablar de la muerte es hablar de la vida (Scenes of Grief: When We Talk About Death, We Talk About Life) will take place at the chapel in Poblenou Cemetery on Sunday, 26 October at 11:00 a.m. Short dramatised scenes depicting everyday situations often experienced during times of grief will be performed, inviting reflection on the words, gestures and silences that help us, followed by a discussion.
New exhibition space and Mexican altar
Montjuïc Cemetery is opening a new permanent exhibition space showcasing heritage artefacts from graves in the city’s cemeteries, creating a place where history, art and collective memory come together.
This space complements the Funeral Carriages Collection, which showcases funerary objects — some designed by Puig i Cadafalch and Venanci Vallmitjana, among others — that form part of Barcelona’s historical, artistic and cultural heritage.
On 1 November, visitors to this space can also take part in a traditional Mexican altar in memory of the soprano Concepción Bahía Millàs, fifty years after her death in Barcelona. Mexcat will lead the activity starting at 11:00 a.m. on 1 November.
Cors Clavé concert
Just like every year, there will be a concert in tribute to Josep Anselm Clavé at Poblenou Cemetery on 1 November at 1:00 p.m.
