Subsidies for works of heritage interest, party walls and green rooftops
Subsidies can be awarded until 17 November 2025 for work to protect and improve landscapes and heritage. These annual calls have a budget of 3.2 million euros, available from this year through until 2029. This year’s call includes a new line of subsidies to improve the outside appearance of commercial establishments in the area around the Sagrada Família.
As usual, these annual subsidies are intended to improve the appearance of the urban landscape through the renovation and improvement of buildings and establishments listed as being of historical interest, the integration of party walls and the installation or reconditioning of green rooftops to improve the sustainability of buildings. The amount of the subsidy can vary according to the scale of the work.
Improving the appearance of shops and businesses around the Sagrada Família
This year’s call includes a special new line of subsidies to incentivise work to improve lighting signage, window displays and awnings at premises located in the area around the temple, as part of the action plan for the busiest area around the Sagrada Família. Subsidies cover up to 50% of the cost of work, up to a maximum of 20,000 euros.
Subsidies can be processed up to 17 November 2025 and the deadline for starting work is 30 March 2026.
