The main awards went to:

  • The restaurant Fismuler (district of Ciutat Vella), in the gastronomic quality category, for “offering no-nonsense high-quality fresh urban cuisine for all types of customers”.
  • Echegaray (district of Sant Martí), in the neighbourhood integration category, for representing “a young everyday cuisine, strongly rooted in the neighbourhood thanks to daily purchases at the market”.
  • Casa Petra (district of Les Corts), in the local name or innovation category, “for becoming a multi-purpose, surprising, decisive, cross-cutting and welcoming space”, in the words of the jury.

There were also honorary mentions for Can Culleretes and Ca l’Isidre (Ciutat Vella), while the Sustainability Award went to El Racó del Peix (Horta-Guinardó) and Casa Amàlia (L’Eixample).

The City Council has been promoting the awards since 2017, which are open to all neighbourhood restaurants that have not received other significant awards. The last two editions both had to be suspended because of the pandemic.
