Three more schools in the public network as the 2023-2024 academic year gets under way

The new academic year gets under way on 6 September with a new secondary school in operation, the Institut Vallcarca, and two state-subsidised private schools joining the public network: the Institut Escola Sant Felip Neri and the Escola Segre. In all, 168,996 children and young people will be schooled in the city, 318 fewer than last year as a result of the demographic drop.
