The Noctulica project explores the perception of light and reflects on bioluminescence, a phenomenon generated when an external element interacts with a live organism such as Noctiluca scintillans, a bioluminescent species of plankton. The light emitted by Noctulica scintillans is gentle: it illuminates the shapes in the water, generating a composition of light in constant movement that plays with our perceptions and the visual experience.
