“Amnesia” is an immersive installation conceived as a five-stage painting performance.  On a circular canvas, memory comes to life, its pulse, its vitality, its loss and whatever is left of it. Light, in contact with the material of the canvas, becomes real in colour, becomes tangible. The colour starts to orchestrate a dance of visual and sound compositions that trace the pulse of life and memory, only to disappear and open the way for the next moment.

Cristian Rizzuti

Cristian Rizzuti is an interactive media artist based in Barcelona. Graduate in Visual and Multimedia Art, he has an M-IA master’s degree from IUAV University in Venice focused on interactive immersive environments. He has exhibited his works in large venues and in different parts of Europe, including the ZKM Museum in Karlsruhe, the MAXXI Museum in Rome, and the Venice Biennal.

Always inspired by science and mathematics, Cristian has centred his personal research on the role of human perception and the definition of synaesthetic spaces and emotional sounds connected with the body. Christian's works, inspired by digital arts, direct media and interactive experiments, can be described as light sculpture installations.

 

Julián Álvarez

Musician and physician established in Barcelona, Julián Álvarez is an outstanding audiovisual composer who works in film, publicity and artistic installations. He has performed at Primavera Sound, Sònar and BAM (Barcelona Acció Musical), among other events. He has also written award-winning music for short and feature length films, and for commercials of brands such as Cupra, Deutsche Bank and Decathlon.

As a scientist, he has worked in acoustic design in Arau Acustica Studio, together with many renowned architectural firm's across Europe. He is currently a freelance consultant and associate lecturer in Architectural Acoustics at the UPC.
