This installation fuses nature with technology in the form of an interactive vertical garden. When the visitors touch it, intelligent sensors detect the contact and trigger a sophisticated projection system that makes digital life bloom on the façade of a building. Accompanied by natural sounds, these virtual flowers bloom and grow organically depending on the location and intensity of the interaction, creating a unique symbiosis between visitor, work and environment.
The project pays homage to the natural history of the La Laguna area of Barcelona by recreating the native vegetation that grew there before its urban transformation. The installation combines references to nature with digital technology, while careful lighting highlights the textures of the vegetation on the panel. This dialogue between past and present, between the natural and the artificial, invites visitors to reflect on their relationship with urban environments, and the importance of preserving green space in today’s cities.
