Born in Gandia (Valencia) in 1980. Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She has been the mayor of Gandia, (2015-2021), a town councillor, from 2011 to 2015 and a provincial councillor from 2015 to 2017. She is a member of the Territorial Council of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), was a member of the Valencia Port Authority board and has been a member of the decision-making body of the Spain Convention Bureau. She is the general secretary of the Gandia branch of the Socialist Party (PSPV-PSOE) and a member of the party’s National Committee. She also sits on the party’s Executive Committee as the Science, Research and Universities secretary.
