Elena Subirà i Roca has a degree in Humanities and Journalism and in Strategic Communication Management. She has been part of the Parallel40 team for 19 years where she is responsible for Institutional Relations and fundraising. She has been responsible for the DocsBarcelona project, which includes a festival and international market, the distribution label DOCSBARCELONA and DocsBarcelona Educació. She currently holds the presidency of Pantalla, the State Federation of Film Festivals, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Consell de Cultura at Barcelona City Council (2012 - 2015).
