Dr. Johann Feckl obtained a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry and a Master’s degree in chemistry from LMU Munich, where he also completed his doctorate in physical chemistry with distinction. In 2015, Dr. Feckl began his career at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (FhG) as an officer in the Research Executive Board Staff. In 2016, he took over as Head of the Presidential Staff. Since 2020, Dr. Feckl has been responsible for the global affiliates and representations of FhG and its central R&D programs. As Director and Section Head of Pre-Competitive Research and International Affairs, he is a member of the senior management team of FhG.
